Website Hosting Placement and Server Setup

We select and configure hosting for your project: load-appropriate configuration, site migration, domain, email, certificates, backups. No guarantees we can't actually deliver on.

Hosting is where the site physically lives. It determines load speed and uptime — and therefore how visitors and search engines see the site. We select a configuration for the task, deploy the environment, and migrate the project.

What We Do

  • We pick a configuration. Based on real load, not "ten times headroom just in case" — no reason to overpay for resources you won't use.
  • We deploy the environment. Operating system, web server, database, PHP, caching — on proven open solutions.
  • We migrate the site. Files, database, domain, email, certificate; redirects from old addresses so you don't lose rankings.
  • We set up backups. Regular backups, with verification that you can actually restore from them.
  • We hand over access. The server is yours, the credentials are yours; you're not locked into us and can move to another vendor at any time.

Which Hosting for Which Task

Shared hosting — the cheapest option for a small, low-traffic site. Limited in configuration: you get what you're given.

VPS/VDS — a dedicated virtual server with full access. The best fit for most commercial sites and stores: you can tailor the environment yourself and scale resources up as you grow.

Dedicated server — an entire physical machine. Rarely needed: for high load or special data requirements.

Cloud configurations — when load fluctuates (seasonal spikes, promotions) and you need to add or remove resources quickly.

Why This Affects Search

Server response time and site uptime are factored in by search engines. Slow or frequently-down hosting hurts both visitors and indexing. That's why we look at real numbers after migration, not a provider's marketing promises.

We don't offer a "99.9% guarantee" — uptime is provided by the data center, not the vendor. What we can do: choose a provider with a solid reputation, set up monitoring, and react quickly when something goes wrong.

Where Sites on the Platform Live

A project on Shopnseo has two paths. The first — join the community server: the platform is already installed and maintained, you just need your own spot on it. The second — the Server tier: the platform is installed on your own VPS, and you become the owner of the community yourself, handing out tiers to your own circle.

We help with both options: we select a load-appropriate configuration, migrate an existing site, and set up the domain, email, and certificates. An example of a working community server — qwetru.ru: dozens of sites on a single installation.
